Battalion Commander
The Battalion Commander must be mature, willing to accept responsibility, and able to effectively delegate authority and supervise subordinates. This person commands the battalion at all formations. Prepares for and conduct the training of the battalion on drill days and makes operational decisions for the cadet battalion.

Battalion Executive Officers
Battalion Executive Officer's position is usually held by a Leadership, Education and Training level 4 cadet. The duties of the Battalion Executive Officer is to organize the cadet battalion staff properly and ensure that it works as a team. Inspects the work of the cadet battalion staff. Ensure that all battalion staff members are prepared and submit reports on time and that they are engaged in future planning.

Battalion Command Sergeant Major
Battalion Command Sergeant Major: The CSM is an important individual that has multiple responsibilities such as providing input on battalion goals, objectives, and supervises the battalion color guard; entering color guard participation into the cadet records, Preparing and delivering the battalion staff briefing, and many more. |
Battalion Adjutant Officer
S-1 Battalion Adjutant: The S-1 Cadet uses the JROTC Unit Management system (JUMS) to record enrollment in JROTC promotions, demotions, leadership assignment, awards, team members, and event participation.
Battalion Safety & Security Officer
S-2 Battalion Safety & Security Officer: S-2 cadet is responsible for maintaining the battalion arms rooms and keeping an inventory of all sensitive or pilferable government property such as, computers, laptops, mobile devices, drill rifles, and air rifles.
Battalion Operations & Training Officer
S-3 Battalion Operations and Training Officer: S-3 is in charge of battalion plans, operations, and training. S-3 cadet integrates battalion and school activities. They publish orders and are responsible for planning major battalion activities and briefing companies. The S-3 prepares risk assessments for all major battalion activities, keeps a school year training calendar, and publishes the weekly training schedule.

Battalion Logistics and Supply Officer
S-4 Battalion Logistics Officer: The S-4 cadet is responsible for maintaining battalion supply rooms, inventories of supplies, issuing uniforms, and alerting the army instructor (AI) if supplies are low. They are also accountable for battalion property and supplies for all major battalion activities. Just like other staff positions, the S-4 also an expert in JUMS and maintain and issue cadet uniforms and accessories.
Battalion Public Affair Officer
S-5 Battalion Public Affairs Officer: S-5 isn't like other staff positions, They mainly consists of an artistic approach when it comes spreading the word on JROTC for battalion activities, events, awards, etc.
Battalion Automation Officer
S-6 Battalion Automation Officer: Deals with monthly inventory of all sensitive items. Makes sure that all technology is working, and updated with latest software.The S6 must be responsible, handy, and mature.
Special Projects Officer
S-7 Battalion Commander Officer: Deals with service hours and the organization of special projects... The S-7 must be organized and responsible.
